Pineda not getting fined for the pine tar. It was pretty obvious.

Lol wtf is this?

As a fan you can't be doing that shit. I saw the play live, and was happy that Canderson told the fan off after it happened

I didnt see the play live but i watched replay after replay. I still dont see the bfd... its not like the fan hit him, the fan basically touched his shoulder, the same way a fan would any other player in any other sport if they get close. He didnt even interrupt the play being made in any way.

Im not saying i agree with it, i just dont see the bfd Granderson made. The fan got ejected and rightfully so, which is enough to prevent similar occurrences but c'mon, stop being a pansy Curtis. pick you wedgie and throw the ball back into the infield.

No

Can't do that shit. Can't just touch some player if he hasn't left the field. You don't know what that fan is trying to do. Sets a very, very bad precedent if you're just like "ahh the fan was just screwing around, no big deal!"

It's not like Canderson is making that big of a deal either. Not trying to sue that guy or anything like that, he was just like 'don't do that shit'

You're making a bigger deal of it than Canderson did, actually

Which is why I said I didnt agree with it.

Curtis should have thrown the ball in, rather than hold up the game to turn around and make a few jabs. Throw the ball in, turn and shake your head, get back in position. Let the stadium make a point with that guy.

Theres not even any reason for him comment on it either, which Curty did after the game, with the article i read. Came off like a baby in the interview i read on espn.

"He touched me and then I turned around," Granderson said following New York's 5-4 loss in 11 innings. "He was like. 'No, I didn't mean to.' I was, 'Hey, just don't touch me.' And that was it.

"Say whatever you want to say. Boo, cheer, clap, cheer for your team, cheer for the other team. But just don't physically touch the players."

Granderson acknowledged that he was concerned by the incident.

"You never know what's going to go on," he said. "The thing that was asked to me by the [Angels] team security was, 'Are you OK? Did anything happen?' I was like, 'Yeah, everything's fine.' But just the fact that I got touched during the act of the game while things were going on is obviously something to always be concerned about."

"Hey, if the ball is coming into the stands, you're more than welcome to go ahead and grab it and catch it and do whatever you want to," Granderson said. "Once you come onto the field of play, whether it's reaching over or actually stepping onto the field, obviously then the rule has been broken."

Granderson said he was not seeking any legal punishment. An Angels spokesman said the offender was ejected but there will be no legal involvement.

"I don't know how the stadium handles those different things, what the protocol happens to be," Granderson said. "I'm not going to do anything with it. I was able to continue to play the game, and that's fine with me."

Total baby

Lol "I'm not going to do anything with it", except make a bunch of comments on it.

Haha "hey just don't touch me"

I guess I'll give good guy Curtis the benefit of the doubt as I wouldn't want to be touched by an angels fan either

"I'm not going to do anything with it," when asked if he was going to purse legal punishment

Canbuena really got besmirched out there today. At least my boy LAKE hit a home run. They'll probably send him down to aaa for that.

Lol your attempt to come off "clever" with your pic

Clearly any action after the initial "incident" would need to be legal. I implied that instead of taking legal action he will just make a bunch of comments on it

Which is why I even brought this up to begin with. I'd like to imagine most would just brush it off. Like the coach of that college basketball team that basically said "kids drink alcohol at an event, oh well, next question"

Or be released. I'll take that homer considering I almost benched him.

Jay Bruce only has 2 hits in the last 7 games, a slow start this season

Yeah, most "would just brush it off"

Yet you've got Fatt Adams pushing a fan that didn't even touch him

Ohh and that comment from Adam Jones, saying "I think it's idiotic for people to run on the field, and I think the punishment needs to be a lot harsher, and they should let us have a shot to kick them with our metal spikes on because it's stupid."

Yeah dude

Totally

These players really act elitist and sound they are so much better than the fans that pay their salary. It used to be fans could storm the field after games. Now, these spoiled babies throw a fit when they are touched. I always felt bad for that 1B coach that got beat down by the father and son; it should have been a player they targeted.

The Giants' non-pitchers have scored one run in two games at home against the Rockie's shit pitching

This fucking team...

Dude, STFU.

Canderson is a can and a bitch.

Lmao....I guess this is what I was subtlety trying to say.

I just think it's dumb that Curtis over here talking about being scared for the player etc.... That fan clearly just wanted to touch him so can say he touched a baseball player.

Which is why the infield just stand around waiting when fans run around the field.
