Well, there was a headline saying L'Equipe has confirmed Falcao is definitely out. He won't be able to arrive in competition conditions. The announcement would be made official on Tuesday.

I havent seen Martinez play, i heard Monaco payed big bucks for him. Is he a pure striker? Bacca is one of those players that can pair up very well with other strikers but the three of them... Have they play together for Colombia? Crazy power upfront.

For Porto he plays at central striker it seems, not as a winger. Havent seen him play much but Porto fans seem to like him. 20 goals and top goal scorer in portuguese league. Not bad at all.

Oh I was mixing him up with James Rodriguez, the other colombian from Porto who signed for Monaco.

Well, i guess Bacca and him can make a great couple up front, Bacca has really suprised me with his quality and speed. Seems like Colombia has a great team, lets see how far they can go.

Damn, thanks for posting! Love seeing him able to pull goal like that right now. I remember him scoring a lot of them like that with Arsenal in his final year there--a little lob from pretty far out, over his head, one touch, bury it. **Shit, didn't realize until re-watching it that he takes it off his chest and not his front foot. Beautiful.

Apparently that was Jordy Clasie who put the...classy ball in to him. Don't know much about him but it'll be interesting (and scary) to see some new faces in that midfield and backfield this tourney. Too bad Strootman's out; was looking forward to seeing how he'd fare.
