How did Giroud get injured from this?

Sexy IMO. United have had a mare and his non stop whining has added to the lols.Your vote for Kernt of the week is . . . . . . ?
Wtf? What happened to this:
Ughhhh. What new striker? There's barely an adequate one out there. This is what happens when you wait and you wait. Mandzukic, Costa in January, even crazy ass Balotelli, they were all available. Fml. This season might be fucked before it even started properly.

Right now (Cavani and Falcao aside, as I can't see us splashing the cash like that) I'd say that Bony or Jackson Martinez would be solid if not spectacular signings.
Remy is more likely, knowing Arsene.
I'd rather go with Bony that with Martinez, adapted to the PL and a proven goalscorer for a mid-table side. Martinez smashes them in for fun in the Portugese league but has looked far less dangerous in European competition.
In other news, the Wolfsburg top brass and his agent have established that Luiz Gustavo is to stay at Wolfsburg. Ancelotti said that Khedira is staying at Real as well. So that pretty much leaves Carvalho as the sole quality DM option. I really hope we go for him.
Me too. The fact that he can (supposedly, as I'm going off of what I've read) offer cover at CB too, is an added plus. Wenger did mention that he's looking for a versatile option.
I wasn't too keen on Gustavo, so I won't lose any sleep over that move being off.
I enjoy watching Martinez play and think that he has everything that we need, but agree that there is a question mark over his potential at the highest level. Having said that, Porto haven't got the greatest team in the world, so many other strikers might struggle up top, for them in Europe.
Delighted the Di Maria deal is all but done. The guy is a hell of a player and hopefully he makes his debut at the weekend. I think he will allow our forward players the room they need to operate. At the weekend it was just awful how little space they could find for themselves because the wings and midfield were so terrible. Add Herrera into the mix and we're finally starting to gather a good collection of versatile, technically proficient players.
Vidic left mainly because of Moyes as I understand it. I honestly believe if he had waited until the summer to decide where he was going to play he would have stayed at least another year. Shame really, we could have done with him another season. He'd have looked much better in this current set up.
Regarding Fellaini, he just looks completely devoid of confidence in a United shirt. He's routinely out-muscled by smaller opponents and gets beaten so easily. He's incredibly clumsy and gives away far to many cheap fouls. He'd still be of use in those tough away games against lower table teams but I can only see him excelling here in a very disciplined role that would take a lot of time for him to grow into. I'm not sure he is technically good enough to be a part of a Van Gaal system. He likes intelligent players after all and so far Fellaini hasn't shown he's up to it.
Vidal would be a great get. Load the contract with incentives and we're cooking. That potential
Bendtner fails to make Denmark squad.
Does anyone know if Koscielny is going to be playing htis weekend? I would imagine if Mertesacker/Kos are fit that Chambers won't be playing? Or will be playing as a RB? I can't see Chambers getting picked over Kos/Mertesacker/Debuchy.
