I checked out Newcastle and QPR forums back when he was linked to us, and they don't rate him as an out and out CF, more like a wf. We have those in abundance.

Well, this past summer Rio/Vidic/Evra all left and only one of them was adequately replaced. Vidic even gave a year long head start to bring a replacement, which still hasn't happened yet. On top of that, Sir Alex totally botched the Paul Pogba situation, which I am sure will go down as his biggest gaffe of his entire career. Even if United had Pogba right now, they would still be short another CM and two CBs.

I think not, but maybe. Too depressed to assess it properly tbh. I think Bony is a better option for our system. Just keep thinking about all the proven quality we could've had an passed on.

Agree on Vidic. Totally, SAF will never live that one do. I agree, MUFC could've signed Garay, but Moyes put the nix on it because he had not personally scouted Garay enough. IIRC, MUFC was going to sign Kroos, but LVG put the kibosh on it, but I don't really buy into that, I think that Kroos turned MUFC down for RM.

I don't get it either. Fellaini used to be one of the biggest bullies in the league. Even if he's outclassed against the Chelsea's and Citeh's, he's perfect for the Sunderland's and Stoke's of the league when shit gets meaty

That said Fellaini's looked timid and confused playing for United so it'd take some patience getting him back into fighting form and into a disciplined def midfield role

You really think we can manage with Sanogo and Sanchez as our CF options for 3+ months? Theo could possibly to it as well, but he's also out for some time and has been hit and miss in that position in the past.

We will win the games we are supposed to - Santi, Rambo, Mesut, alexis, everyone will chip in with a few goals and everything will be fine. Now, against the top teams is another whole story, but someone like Bony wont make a difference. A Cm and Cb on the other hand are vital if we wanna go deep into the fight.

If United can somehow scoop up Vidal their fortunes change drastically...if not, I doubt they make the top 4.
