All u fuckers talking about winning the league and getting cups and CL play and EL play, I'm just happy we haven't lost a game yet and are above the mags in the table.

This is all on Wenger. All Arsenal fans have feared that this moment might come. A top club has to have two quality options for every position, since you never know with injuries. Sanogo is a prospect and Sanchez at CF is a gamble. There were very good options out there and Wenger and the board passed on all of them.

If I were Arsenal I would still make a true defensive mid the priority

Imagine if Arsenal don't go through against Besiktas. Given the clubs fiscal policy, there is NO WAY that Arsenal will splash the cash to bring in a proper CF that they need (say Wilf Bony). At least United has Rooney/RVP/Welbeck/Hernandez uptop.

Anyways, I am sure Wenger knows about some 16 year old kid in Ligue 2, that should soothe your troubles.

Jokes aside, I am sure Wenger will bring someone in - wouldn't surprise me if it was a loan - and Arsenal will finish fourth.

Who knows, if he feels this team really has a chance of winning the premier league he will buy the best player available.

Yeah, but your CM' option are kinda shit, despite spending Anderson Silva money. I'm not that worried about the Besiktas game, think we'll deal with that in traditional manner. The money will be there, i think if we sell Poldi our net spent is like 15-20m, but i don't see a quality target out there. Bony is allright, but not worth the money he's gonna cost.

Oh, yeah, that is why I only went with the attacking options. United's midfield/backline options are pretty dire, especially when you look at who has left the club the last few years. Di Maria definitely makes a huge difference though, shows the club are serious. I also read on twitter that United agreed on a deal for Blind, and are now going after Vidal (finally). A few sources have said Juve is interested in Hernandez, so i would just do Chicharito + Cash for Vidal - if his knee is up to scratch.
 
could of got eto too but sounds like he's gone to everton tomorrow
 
Man it's depressing how we went from having strikers like RvP, Bergkamp, Henry, Eduardo (class before his injury) etc, to Giroud and Sanogo. It's the weakest area of our squad along with the cdm

If you get Blind and Vidal, on top of all your prior signings, it's arguably one of the greatest transfer windows is PL history. It's Football Manager stuff, really.

Yeah, and people will bring up the figures paid (justifiably, I guess) to bring these players in, but the squad needed a major overhaul. Ideally, I would like to at least see two CB/CMs, and one of the other (so if United bring in two CMs, one CB). If it was something like Vidal/Blind/Nigel de Jong/another CB, I would be very happy.

I've read multiple times that when LvG is not playing 433 it is basically b/c he is in a crisis situation (or something along those lines). Ideally the club will sign Kevin Strootman in the winter window, his injury is what forced LVG to start playing 352 with the Dutch to begin with.
