I can't believe anyone would be even slightly surprised by the press coverage Moyes' sacking has garnered.

Moyes has single handedly taken the premier league champions and turned them into a laughing stock (literally, "Moyes is a football genius" anyone?) all in ONE season!!

This dramatic fall from grace has been one of the defining highlights of the season, and what premier league 2013/14 will largely be remembered for, for years to come.

So, naturally, him getting sacked and bringing an end to the saga is gonna get a lot of coverage. Not to mention the ongoing speculation to who is gonna inherit the job!

I beg to differ.

This is one of the weakest, if not weakest Utd squads i've ever seen in my lifetime. Don't be fooled by what SAF achieved with that squad, that's just a testament to what a great manager SAF was.

May be he should've got more time but this is Utd we are talking about, that doesn't work with the big boys. Moyes a d level manager and nothing more, he was way out of his depth and it wouldn't have made a difference if he was there for another season imo.
