This. Cops and witnesses spoke of a triangulated attack by at least two shooters. Also, the guy in the video had an assault rifle, not a sniper rifle. Sure, he could have switched weapons, but it's more likely there were other people involved.

I doubt there was an actual sniper rifle used. He probably took calculated shots from an elevated position with the same rifle used later. At those ranges, any trained soldier should be able to make precise shots.

Naturally, that part of it never made the news that I saw. The media isn't going to report that, that'd be racist after all. I saw shared Facebook status' amongst my Police Officer friends from On duty officers who were there when it happened. It's disgusting. I'll see if I can find any sort of real news reports.

Shit has been this way for a while. Go back to 1991 and you have Rodney King getting the fuck beat out of him on national television and the police get away with it and then riots ensue. I don't know what the solution is but I do know that its been a very long running problem and police dept.'s around the country have done very little to their offending officers. Its a serious problem that has to be addressed before things will change.

I don't know if I would say that the cops are bad in the traditional sense. I think that some of these cops are suffering from ptsd or some type of anxiety order from being afraid of being shot whenever they pull someone over. Police work is actually a lot safer than a lot of jobs but if everyone tells you "you have to worry all the time about being shot or killed" you will probably start believing it at some point and become very aggressive towards any perceived threat..
