News 12-6 Elbows / Grounded Opponent Strikes(Hands-Down) OFFICIALLY ALLOWED

Will be funny to watch I'm sure some fighters in the beginning are gonna keep their hands down thinking they're safe out of muscle memory and get fucking cracked to Bolivian

For those saying Jones should drop the loss, that can't be how it works. He broke the rules while it was a rule. At one point groin strikes and hair pulling was allowed but those aren't losses now afterwards. And what about claiming that a fighter shouldn't have lost because another organization or commission would have allowed it? It's big special pleading to call for Jones to get a loss reversed but not even think about anyone else under the same umbrella.

Aljo never becomes champion! Would Merab be Chsmp right now?

Glad to see the elbow rule go, even the refs didn't know how that rule worked.

Also nice to see some logic on the grounded opponent part, fairly tired of putting a finger on the mat being a defensive strategy.

Nice, finally getting rid of the whole "was it legal?" part of grounded opponent strikes.

12-6 elbows is rarely implemented other than Jones DQ, lol, nothing will change on how they currently throw them to be honest.

Great news, very happy with this. This is supposed to be Ultimate Fighting.. putting your fingertips on the mat so someone can't hit you is pathetic, about as far away from real fighting as possible.
Its a sport, not real fighting, rules are rules and both can play the same game, move along.
