I get on Henry for "retiring" in his prime, but he did good and nobody can take that away from him. He's also a gold medalist, which makes him one of the most decorated wrestlers in UFC history. Like I said, dumping on him seems petty. I don't know if Bo will be champion someday, but he looks fucking phenomenal right now. Not just wrestling, but he has punching power and he transitions to submission grappling quickly, plus he switches from one sub to another quickly. He's also very strong. This is all very obvious, which is why I don't understand why others can't see it.

I agree Bo is elite.
I'm just shitting on Cejudo for suddenly chiming in and acting like he was god's gift to MMA from the wrestling side of things, not a dude who won a title in Joe Warren-Joe Soto style over a gassing Moraes and a bs decision against MM in their rematch.

Tiny guys by nature are competing in a small talent pool, while Bo dominated a weight class that more people are in.

You simply cannot compare their wrestling backgrounds. Khamzat did well in Sweden in a lot less matches, while Bo was wrestling the best in the USA (winning almost all) before losing in the Olympic trials in 2021 to gold medalist David Taylor, who had a 45 match win streak.

Though, Cejudo advices Bo Nickal to take his time and not rush for a titleshot, as Henry feels he found himself in a title-fight too early in his career.

Imo Bo Nickal should build himself up and gain MMA-experience first before fighting all those big names, so wise words from Triple C.
But can he easily take Khamzat down in MMA and beat Izzy as of today? I don’t know
