Jones is better at MMA, period. People voting for Frank just love knockouts and don't appreciate artistry.

So good he was busted 3 times for roids. People that are good don't need to cheat.

BTW, anyone that say's "period" never said anything intelligent.

Bro he had a fluke knee injury in the fight which makes it even WORSE for Jon because he couldn't finish or even confidently decision a one legged low level fighter.

Jon is a GOAT. He is possibly the greatest unarmed combat fighter of all time. But he's past his prime and is not the same guy that buzzsawed through the decision

So thinking he would destroy Francis, who right now might be the greatest and scariest HW of all time, in Jons first fight(s) at HW at the very ass end of his career is asinine.

Theres a reason he demanded 30mil to fight Francis and claims injury when the fight is brought up. Soon as Francis was no longer available, Jon is ready to fight tomorrow against a stylistic dream for him.

Its literally the exact same as GSP not wanting anything to do with elite MWs but as soon as one eyed Bisping is champ, GSP at MW is go time then immediately retire with the belt. Accept things for what they really are.

Lyin’ Fart just wants to feel better about cowering like a scolded dog in Jones presence.

Or maybe they just agree that arguably the best MMA fighter of all time would beat a one dimensional guy like Francis.

Any analyst worth their salt knows Francis is a big problem for Jones, especially after Jones arguably lost to Reyes and Santos. This one dimensional guy has the most dangerous standup at HW in recent memory and stuffed Miocic's takedowns like he was a child last time he was in the cage.

JDS, Cain, and Overeem are some of the reasons why Jon never went to HW and Francis didn't just beat them but KO'd them easily.
lol u act like they where in their prime when francis kod them
youve just exposed yourself

you actually think 40 year old should be retired fighters are legit wins
lol
prime nganou was scared of blackbeast and gane
lost to aging stipe

imagine prime fearless jds who has a granite chin and has great reflexes
my god nganou would run away

prime nganou lost to aging stipe and blackbeast
we are talking about prime nganou
he also struggled with gane cant outsrike him
the same fighter that jones dispatched like a kid

any full grown man with a full grown brain would obviously figure this out
and please dont act like francis is the only man that has 1 punch ko power
lol

Actually, last time he was in the cage he was outclassed in the stand up and forced to panic wrestle against Gane. A guy Jones annihilated in 2 minutes.

I dont understand what you're trying to type. Are you justifying why Santos was brutally beaten and couldnt walk for a year after the Jones fight? Like he should get a participation trophy for that loss or something?

Fancis was champion for 130 days. He then turned down the highest pay ever to fight Jones.
When and how was Jones going to fight Francis if he quit the UFC instead of fighting of him?

Let's put thing straight.
The one who turned down the highest pay ever for this fight is Jones.

Ngannou declined to re-sign with the UFC more than 18months later, while he was already a free agent. He did not turn down a fight, he was asked to lock himself with the UFC for the rest of his career with zero guarantee that the Jones fight would happen.
And based on what happened with the Jones vs Stipe fight, he was absolutely right to do so.

Jones is the GOAT who has never lost a fight against anyone and has dominated the sport for a decade and a half. He has destroyed some of the other all time greats at a myriad of disciplines. It’s not really a surprise that most pros would pick jones (as they should). He literally has zero weaknesses in his game…let that sink in for a moment. Don’t get me wrong he has certain attributes that exceed others but what weaknesses does jones have in the cage come fight night?
Lack of punching power and not all that great boxing.

You posted a tweet?
Francis was ultimately offered what Jones said was too low and Francis was the B-side of the fight

Francis states very clearly, he turned down the highest pay to fight Jones and LEFT the UFC

So you confirm Jones turned the fight down for 10millions (not the 7-8 Ngannou was offered), while Ngannou was under contract, and calling him out. Then only came back out of retirement once Ngannou was effectively gone.

BTW. If Francis is the B side, and Jones said 10M is way too low for a "fight of that magnitude", how much did Jones take to fight Gane?

I suspect Jones did, he was posturing online during negotiations it was too low.

Jones couldn't FORCE Francis to fight (during his brief 130 day championship reign) without Francis agreeing to sign a contract. Francis ultimately decided after getting offered the highest pay ever (with zero title defences) to quit the UFC.

The ONLY fight Jones states he would take at HW was for the belt. Francis had the belt, then turned down the highest pay ever to fight Jones and quit.
Jones only option was to fight the #1/Interim champ

Who he dispatched within a couple minutes after having gone the distance with Francis.

The way Francis fights in mma, that seems a pretty likely conclusion but I wouldn't bet the house on it. Jones is a crazy fast guy and doesn't really and speed so the extra weight and age should be kind to him in that regard. His chin is solid but I don't care how solid it is, if francis connects its likely over.
Jones is the better wrestler but Francis has came a long way and is no doubt the stronger of the two.
My prediction would be a hard fought points victory for Jones. I don't see him stopping Francis at all dispite how easily he did to gane.
