Crime Woman in Minneapolis Executed by ICE Officers; White House Reflexively Hand Waves Murder

LOL, it's a one way street with two lanes and one was completely clear.

Imagine trying to claim they were blocked in any capacity. Are you guys fucking awake?

Its called the shoulder, and that part isnt made explicitly for parking. Most people are allowed to park there short term, yes. But you can be towed for being there too long as well.
That's usually in the city, where parking violations is half of their income. Yes, you can get towed in certain areas if you are violating the parking laws that are explicitly posted on signs everywhere. In most residential areas, they may have a rule on which side of the road you can park on, but that's about it. It's totally normal to park on the side of the street in most areas.

I've already given it a million times, but okay.

She intentionally blocked them with her vehicle. She then ignored their commands, and decided to floor it and hit one of the agents. The agent justifiably shot her. The end.

At what point in that video does the woman "floor it" ? Were tire marks left from where she "floored it" ?

Nope.

Can you not read? Do you understand English?

Tell me what this means

Most people are allowed to park there short term, yes.

And get back to me. Oh, also let me know how long a random car can park there, I'm curious.
Again, you know nothing about roads, parking or laws relating to either.....clearly. It is not short term, it's indefinitely. What planet do you live on? See the lines marked out for both sides? There are no driveways on the street you absolute can, where do you think home owners are going to park? See all of those small walkways from the roadside to the houses? What the fuck do you think they're there for?

Just stop posting, you're a detriment to common sense in this discussion.

Thread is about as partisan as it gets, IMO

Judging by the comments, one can only assume that if this was Obama's goon squad, the party of states' rights would still be going on about FAFO, stupid prizes, etc.

the agent doesn't have any authority to reach into her car.
Could be. I dunno what the specifics of the code are. This doesnt mean she can just drive off with an officer in front of the car. At the end of the day, this is still a person that's committing crimes. That doesnt mean she deserved to be shot, but you keep framing it as if only the agents made any mistakes at all.

pulling the trigger wasn't justified because it did nothing to make anyone safer. it just killed her.
In hindsight? Possibly. But the only thing that matters is whether it can be reasonably inferred thay she was a threat at the moment the trigger was pulled.

you said she was primarily to blame.
Correct. She is. She's the criminal and she shouldn't have attempted to drive away with the officer in front of her car.

They're going to switch to impeding traffic because her bumper was sticking out of the bike lane into one of the two drive lanes shortly.

Imagine thinking it's perfectly okay to park sideways in the middle of the road, with the specific intent of blocking Law Enforcement agents. You're really working overtime to make this seem totally normal, LOL. Are you awake?

Next time you see a cop behind you, just stop and park sideways in the middle of the street right in front of him. See if he just drives around you.

...or if you apply enough gas to cause your tires to spin when someone is a couple feet in front of it. This is going to be his defense if it even gets that far and so far this is what the Feds seem to be using as self defense while local is looking into probing into it further. You can argue on a karate forum about your personal opinion on what use-of-force laws are and make smart ass remarks to me but ultimately it doesn't really matter how any of us want to interpret this in our heads.

that's like 1/20th of a turn of that wheel in that shot. it moves a couple inches at most.

There's your super secret never to be released footage @b34stmode.

Lawful but awful. He was clearly in fear of great bodily harm. Why did she zoom off like that? Furthermore, from a Minnesota law perspective the totality of the situation is to be taken in account. There is obvious hostility and there has been violence against ICE near daily in Minnesota.

I still think shooting was worst case scenario. A moving car with no driver in control is a serious danger. Take the bump and arrest her after and put her in prison. Of course the corrupt judges would probably set her free. Blue states are corrupt, chaotic and absolutely dangerous for everyone.

You can claim tha all you want, but youre attempting to argue what what she was thinking, and what the officer should have thought which is entirely assunption. Plus we have the advantage of both hindsight and multiple video angles.

This defense that he "moved out of the way" is ridiculous. He shouldn't have to move out of the way. She shouldn't drive in such a way that hed have to move to avoid being hit. She did a terrible job moving the vehicle away from him because the alternate camera angle clearly shows the car come in contact with him.
No, i'm not arguing what she was thinking, i'm pointing out that her vehicle is clearly shown passing by him, as he also moves to the side (while shooting).

???
They're on ice lol

It's the part right at the end, when she frantically tries to get away and hits the cop.

Are you fucking serious right now? I mean, is this the next pretzel twist in an attempt to justify her actions? She actually had the car in neutral and tried to merely roll away?

Not normal, but they weren't blocked. Literally two lanes on a one way street, one was clear. This ain't difficult man. They escalated a situation where they could have simply gone into the other lane. Or simply written her a traffic ticket (if they had jurisdiction). You haven't bothered reading any manuals either, eh?

The new cope: "She was only blocking 1 of the 2 lanes of traffic".

There is also readily available witness testimony saying they had been successful obstructing their operations. The aren’t arresting her for traffic violations, they were arresting her for obstruction, which they do have the authority to do.

Park there short term.....what the fuck are you talking about? There are no signs about time limits on the road. The only no parking areas are within 50 feet of an intersection, which this location was not.
