Depends on what you mean by pimping. If you're talking about gorilla pimping, kidnapping girls and forcing them, picking up runaways and forcing or coercing them, then yes. But there are escort agencies and brothels that have a more reciprocal relationship and it's not the same thing. The Nevada legal brothel system seems to work well even though technically the brothel owners and employees are pimping the women who work there.

Maybe, maybe not. How much of a cut are they getting now? Weed has been legalized recently in some states. That was an illegal, street type of crime not to long ago. The government seems to be doing pretty well from those taxes.
