A good friend of mine used to say "a man should be able to throw a punch, turn a wrench, ride a bike and drive a stick". While not a comprehensive way of answering the question it illustrates the idea that a man should be willing and capable. I'm a bit of a cavemen so agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment. Half the young "men" I meet may be male, but are miles from being men. Too much tofu, methinks.
