Watching movies with family... and sex scene comes on... what do?

with my mom and dad I just sort of look at my phone and pretend not to look.
with my girlfriend and brother its fine.
with my girlfriends sisters and mom and dad its like me hiding and making sure they know I didn't pick this movie...
 
How's about not watching movies with sex with your family?

Never has been an issue. I was 16 or so when VCR's became affordable, so R rated movies weren't that big a deal. And my parents were more concerned graphic violence than nudity anyways. Hell, my dad took me to see "Carrie" when I was 12. That opening scene was damn near hard-core porn for kids way back then...
 
I would be told to cover my eyes, but tbh I enjoyed watching it, lol. I have an uncle who showed his kids porn when they were really young and I guess explained what was going on. Its pretty fucked, but they turned out normal as far as I can tell anyway.
 
Run outta room them return with hand lotion and box of tissues and set in centre of room

You're gonna have to clarify "pulled him in".

I was only allowed to watch R-rated movies if my brother had seen them first and gave it the ok for me to see, which meant I could see anything but nudity. If there was nudity he made me turn away while he watched so he didn't have to take he heat for letting me see tits.

Now, if I'm watching something with my 12-year-old and things get steamy on whatever we're watching I hit FF.
 
Got to be proactive.

When I was in undergrad and visiting my parents, i walk inot the room and they are watching Six Feet Under, and I'm like "see ya later".

Told him to be quiet, and pulled him into the room he was in
 
We'd all get really quiet, all just look at the screen more to not look at each other watching, but not act weird by making a big issue out of not watching/stop watching, and all be desperately praying the scene would end quickly. And once it was over, there would be a sense of relief felt in the room and somebody would comment on the very next scene in the movie to break the silence and we'd all pretend that the nudity/sex scene didn't really just happen.

Now parents can easily review exactly what is and isn't in every movie, but in the 80's and even 90's was pre-internet you went by simple MPAA Ratings and sometimes as little information as just the movie box cover.
 
I knew this guy in high school who got it on with his biological sister when they both watched a movie with a graphic sex scene in it. I specifically remember him telling us in Freshman year in high school that him and his little sister would hope their parents would go out, so they could sneak in and watch the R rated VHS tapes their parents rented to watch the sex scenes specifically. He said it would progressively get worse over time and they eventually ended up doing it.

This shit spread all throughout, that they had to move to another schooling zone.

Just looked them up on Facebook. They both look like normal adults now. Fucking family gatherings must be awkward as fuck.
 
I just start cheering things like, "Oh yeah! Look at those cans! This makes me want to beat my dong like it owes me money! Woohoo!" Normally, I make it so awkward that everyone leaves the room, giving me time to fap in peace.
 
I remember flipping through the channels one night with my entire family in the living room, and landing in HBO which had a scene on with a super up close shot of this guy sucking on some big boobs. Super awkward.
 
Try to change the subject as quickly as possible. If that doesn't work i'll leave the room completely lol.
