War Machine and how he could have prevented getting a life sentence.

But he clearly wanted to prove to the jury and judge that he is a clear and present danger to society so they threw the book at him. He has his first parole hearing in 36 years. Lol.

I agree with everything you say, but the problem is that you're asking War Machine not to be War Machine.

And for that reason the system probably worked in this case. War Machine was a walking time bomb, and perhaps it's good he was put away for so long without a murder or permanent injury.

I totally agree tho: how i it that he beat the shit out of the guy boning his gf and his gf, caused n one permanent harm, killed no one, raped no one, shot no one, but he gets life while real killers get off free - not to mention, in most of Europe, the max you can get for anything is like ten years. Life is just overkill, especially considering he was no doubt on roids, shit loads of other stuff and when you turn 50, all that piss and vinegar turns to milk and mashed potatoes. Our criminal system is really just a for profit system for the rich.

Also, there are human rights issues at play, coupled with the reality that if you house a bunch of loose cannons together without anything to do, and neglect them, then you'll have an even bigger monster to deal with in prison, and when they get out.

WarMachine definitely suffered in sentencing because he didn't show remorse, and because of his attitude during the trial. He refused a plea bargain, and when you do that, you're likely to get nailed hard as a consequence. Otherwise, plea bargains lose some of their leverage.

Let's not forget the other incidences with WarMachine. He attacked another man in a parking lot, and also attacked people at a porn party. He had a past.
 
Hopefully his cell mates Tyrone and Daquan are big cmack fans and they make warmachine reenact their favorite scenes of her.
