Well it won't be overnight that's for damn sure. And they'll want US bases closed in return in the very least. There will need to be proof of life on both sides. No joint military training in return for no new tests - if they were to denuke and have inspectors in they'd be UN, and NK would want proof of troop drawdown in the bases etc.
 
This is a great development and is a positive for all Americans if something positive does come from this. Its especially good for our troops but yet you see the same posters making comments because its a positive for the current administration.
Its sickening that people are so tied up in party lines that they can't even be happy about a positive development.

Regardless, how were his comment(hyperbole aside) inflammatory to anyone but raging Liberals who would rather Trump be bashed for anything and everything all the time?

It's nice to see South Korea leading the way. They have the most to lose if either side gets trigger happy. Trump doesn't give a shit about the nuts and bolts of a deal. He just wants to look like he did something. South Korea will be making the deals and US will give their stamp of approval. North Korea will get food or whatever and maybe they'll be building nukes on the side as well but not broadcasting it. Previous administrations would actually have checked on the details but Trump won't. That's why North Korea is willing to make deals now, because they're empty promises on their end.

Both sides win. Donald pulls off the impossible, makes history. Kim Jong-un get's to keep fucking his harems and eat steak every night, washed down with the finest cognac France has to sell at a discount to them.

Kim Jong-un know's the jig is up. They'll eventually be dealt with (If all out war what happens? He dies) Even if they aren't, he can show face and then possibly reduce sanctions and improve his already lottery like life. Neither one has anything to lose over this. There is no pride etc, only political and personal gain. It's likely it happens.

I am very pleased to see that Trump has agreed to talks. I'd love a full normalization of relations for everyone involved, and for North Korea to finally be opened up. Once the people experience the world as it is, and for long enough, there is no going back.
