I agree that Tom is the real champ, but to be fair Renan Barão's interim belt was pretty legit too. Dude defended it like 2 or 3 times while Dom was being reconstructed like Robocop.

This is fair. But at least Don wasn’t a paper champ to begin with. He was the real, inaugural BW champion. Here we have jones come snag a vacant title from a guy about just lost to the champ, and then elect to fight an old guy (I love stipe but let’s be real, he’s not what he used to be)
