The "secret" of McGregor's sucess is actually a well known secret

Copy tattoos and hair from someone who has a better look, then copy chaels act: the secret. Plus receive the ufc hype machine blessing with its fake twitter campaign. Of course you still have to win most of your fights.

What a crock of shit...good but not special fighter...that is comical..it really is...the guy destroyed the p4p best fighter on earth in 13 seconds...as he predicted...ran through everyone in the fw division..only had a problem, when he moved up in weight...but still got revenge...

Getting all the breaks? another crock of shit...where was his break, when aldo pulled out with a fake injury and instead of just fighting aldo at another time, he fights mendes on short notice...a completely different fighter....where was his break, when another brazilian(rda) pulls out with a fake injury and again, conor doesn't just sit out, but chooses to fight instead...

The level of delusion with conor haters is remarkable.

100% truth.

Conor is just as special as Chuck, who was special for a while until he got blueprinted.
One punch. Everybody knows the tool, it's the only one in the box. It's a good one, but sooner or later he'll encounter a situation where it doesn't work, and then he'll have to fall back on skills he doesn't really have.
I mean, another such situation.

He has already evolved. He will continue to evolve. He has more than 1 punch. Come on now.

Does the book talk about hiring a PR team to build a false, made up image of you and then having the company you work for clear a path for you to make it to the top? Skimmed the pages and didn't see that in there.

Let me point out the fail in your logic. You and others say Conor didn't get a break when he fought Mendes on a couple weeks notice and that he deserves a bunch of credit for that.

He did get a break and deserves no credit. Let me explain simply.

If Conor were to beat Aldo, his next opponent would have been Edgar or Mendes. Being in Conor's situation would you rather:

Wait for Aldo and then fight Edgar or Mendes on full camp?

-or-

Wait for Aldo but use the opportunity to knock off one of your future opponents under favourable circumstances.

"But Mendes is completely different, be didn't have time to prepare"

No, Conor famously said he prepares for no specific opponent, and even if he did, Mendes has the same problem together with not having any training camp at all.

So, if you are Conor, do you fight a no-Camp Mendes on a full camp of your own, but with short notice on the opponent, or do you fight full camp Mendes later?

I think we know the answer, and don't forget, he was allowed to choose between Frankie and Chad.

Incidentally, he tried this move on Aldo to preempt a full camp rematch but Aldo didn't bite.

Called the book "the Secret"

McGregor first saw the movie, then started reading the book thanks to his sister, which taught him one main concept - if you visualize something, you can eventually obtain it

One of McGregors tweets before he became famous back in 2014 was

"Get in. Get rich. Get out"

Does anyone also notice how he always refers to it as the "fighting game", instead of just fighting. While this guy has an incredible work ethic, determination and heart, hes also smart and his main motivation is money over statistics.

This is exactly what hes doing with the Mayweather fight - so I would not be surprised to find that Eddie Alvarez would be his last UFC fight, and he would be the first fight to ever retire from the UFC while being stripped of two championship belts, at two weight classes, that he never defended

McGregor is now more of a brand than a fighter, he can explore almost any area of entertainment , from acting, to promoting, to public appearance to fashion and make great amounts of money doing it, while still staying n the spotlight which he flourishes in

McGregor has also witnessed an MMA fighter die in a fight he watched live - and now that he has a child, he doesnt want to expose himself to potential head injuries, even though he hasnt really received much damage/head trauma during his mainstream MMA career

Nate Diaz must also be very upset as well, missing out on his HUGE payday of a 3rd fight
The "fight game" wasn't a term Conor invented. It's typical boxing lingo.

That said, The Secret is real and if everyone followed it we'd have a better world. The summary is that you should stop blaming others and put more emphasis into your own thoughts and your own decisions. That is what ultimately shapes your reality.

What does he have?
You can take a skill each from five different fighters.
What do you take from Conor's skillset, if not his counter left?
What else does he have?

Good. He's NOTHING special.
If you put together a list of the skills desirable in a great mma fighter, his counter left is the only thing that anyone would consider adding to it.
He's the champion of 2 weight classes, beat the former p4p #1 and several other top high p4p fighters in 4 years in the UFC lol. Just objectively speaking how is he nothing special bro

What else does he have?
Movement, competent kicks, fight IQ, displayed respectable TDD in his last few fights, what else does he need?

Bro what you can find videos on the internet of him in his late teens/early 20s when he was just some kid in Dublin and he's almost exactly the same. How did he build a false image lmao?

The secret of stars' success rarely is rarely classified.

The issue isn't knowing what you've got to do. The issue is doing it.

Execution is what separates the greats from everybody else.

It's all really quite simple:

1. Steal underpants
2. ?
3. Profit

He's the champion of 2 weight classes,
Manufactured especially for him.

He's a great Twitter champ. His two belt fraud "accomplishment" isn't even worth bringing up.
