I thought you might be saying that

1) As descendants of Adam and Eve we are inbred.

2) A misguided understanding of evolution.

Since it isn't either of those I agree with you. Populations have definitely gone through inbreeding over the course of human existence. The difference is that for many people it might be in the last 10,000 years or so, for Knoxville it was within the last 400 or so, at the latest.
