She Weighed 285 lbs until she discovered JIU-JITSU

Most people don't have that much initiative. Most people after 40 just feel too sorry for themselves and make excuses.

It's funny how fast not working out catches up with people. By 25 a lot of people haven't exercised since HS. So good for her.

All you guys lost weight? I'm up 25 pounds since I started BJJ. Hmmm odd.

Yeah, but how you gonna motivate yourself to go swimming every damn day?

People blow off exercise if they're doing it just for the sake of fitness. BJJ is fun and addictive so it keeps people coming back. Most of us spend much more time doing BJJ than we ever spent exercising before we started BJJ. I used to dread going to the gym but I look forward to BJJ all day.

You got a point there, but i mean everyone that trains bjj for an extended period of time had a lot of injuries, and not the "bruised finger" that heals in 2 weeks but the chronic back pains or the knees that don't cooperate anymore, so i am wondering about the healthy -ness(for your body ).
