This is how Russians handle partisanship. And it is extremely sad, we had a 3 star general and now president elect calling for the jailing of their political opponents. They even had their "lock her up" chant when the FBI and the judicial branch are supposed to make their calls. Trump supporters have more hate for their own country than they do an adversarial country who are opposing our interests from Libya to Syria to Afghanistan to North Korea, etc. Trump supporters need to realize that their were 10-20 republican candidates who all wanted to help you out too and we had guys like Kasich or even Lindsey Graham who would have done so much better for all your concerns. You all were conned. Hillary was not the only other option. I wanted a republican president but not a Russian agent.

Russia, powerful ostensible "Democracy" is jailing anyone who has a chance of winning office or highlights Putin's corruption, and not a peep from the POTUS or The State Department? Seriously?

The situation in Russia is hard to watch, seeing protestors beaten and arrested. Democracy is fragile, it is interesting indeed to contemplate the conditions necessary to destroy our Democratic freedoms in the US.

But they're triggering liberals, what's the problem?

At least Obama used to "tut, tut..." in the press.
Where's Trump? Out golfing, again?

And the EU is trying to do the same to Marine Le Pen, China does it all the time, the Obama & Clinton administrations were doing the same to journalists, rabble rabble rabble...

Putin is not going away. he will stay in power till he dies. after this 2nd term, he will either do the same bs he did with Medvedev before, or find a way to change laws to stay president forever. some politicians are already suggesting something to that effect. talk about it 5 more years, and it wont seem so outrageous when it happens.

Trumptards really flling in to express their outrage, LOL

They're probably wondering what this has to do with Trump. Then realized nothing.

Anyway they jailed Navalny for a symbolic 15 days and Russia doesn't have the same speech/protest rights as the US.

You guys realize Navalny is an ethnonationalist right? In the US there would be serious demand from the left to silence/jail him. You guys believe in the suspension of personal rights for what you label as "Nazis".

They've been heavy duty Russia apologists from day one, I'd've thought they'd have SOMETHING to say about this, something negative.

Translation: You have no idea what happened, no idea who Navaly is, no idea why they detained him, no idea how Trump relates to any of this, but you saw the other idiots carousing and figured it was safe to join in.
