I was wondering why the punching bag was gone for a few weeks. It was an old, big, and heavy boxing bag hanging high. Someone must have broke it, because they bought a new one. A banana Thai bag!!! I didn't low kick in so long, it was great to just hit the bag. I miss kickboxing. A lot.

FORM CHECK:

How in the hell do you stay tight for 8 reps? My best way of getting tight is taking a deep breath and bracing my core at the top, then grabbing the bar and getting tight, then exploding up. If I release my air I'm not tight anymore, and I start lifting with my back, but I can only do 3 reps before seeing stars because I'm holding my breath.

I took a video of a few reps at 315lbs and my fourth rep seems to be all back. Same happened with my sets at 330. It was better than last week, but let me know if you see anything wrong with my form:

Great video from Mike Israetel about worth and purpose. Makes me wonder what make me feel valuable, fulfilled, and happy. I've been thinking about that for a while now that I have all this free time.

Great workout. Pretty sure going heavy is more efficient than going for reps when training my chest.

The first two min of this song are absolute gold. I'm still impressed with Danzig's voice.

Very much so. I'm halfway through his lectures on Maps of Meaning; I listen to his stuff while doing pull-ups or cardio.
The information he provides is invaluable. He gives you clear direction on many different topics with a sound reasoning why. For example, his advice on the presence of different dominance hierarchies and how to deal with them is great. His view on the fact that we should accept life as suffering, but making the pain go away by actually committing to being the best we can be is remindful of the Nietzsche idea of perpetual return.

Regarding the video quoted above, I am beyond motivated to push my career to the next level by making a risky move. I'm still hesitating between option A and B, but it is getting clearer by the day.

Mind = blown; I figured out how to do the vacuum pose today haha! Protip: exhale all the air you have inside and push your stomach inward really hard.

Also, got the keys to my new place! I started moving a few boxes and I'm so excited to move there. I'm going to have an extra room to make an office, and it's on the top floor with no one above.
