traditionally people who held resentful ideas probably were held inert by forces of nature.
the onset of the internet gives power to resentful ideas. and it gives a plethora things to be resentful about than would traitionally be applicable to the person.
so in a sense it can not only make corruption more powerful but make more people prone to corruption.
is it possible the internet removed a natural block on a societal negative feedback loop?
