and to IWB, bird's stats on D are clearly skewed by his Rebounding numbers. Magic was also the all time steals leader and nobody actually thinks he's some great defender. Bird's not athletic enough to guard a single wing player in today's NBA

Celtics Rumors: Boston Reportedly 'Really Focused' on Gordon Hayward

According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics are "really focused on trying to get Gordon Hayward from Utah in free agency."

Wojnarowski added that he thinks Celtics general manager Danny Ainge will "go really hard after Hayward on July 1."

I don't see Danny trading young assets or picks. C's are a million miles away from the Cavs and Warriors. Hayward would solidify them as the 2nd best team in the East (barring a major move by any of the other teams). But Fultz or Brown would really have to emerge for them to even sniff the Cavs. Better to keep building through the draft while competing (with 27 of the teams in the league anyways).

As far as Centers go its Zizic and then hope the Nets stink again next year and you can grab Bamba or Ayton. I think the Nets will get whatever picks they can for Bropez this off-season and finally get to start their tank in 18-19. They should be bottom 5 easy.

C's have 5 more 1st rounders in 18 and 19, Nets unprotected next year, Memphis top 8 protected in 19', Clippers lottery protected in 19' and 20' (could end up a 2nd if they blow it up) and then they have their own picks in both 18'/19. Should spend most of these picks on big men.

Steph was barely even relevent when lebron was winning his first championships and making finals. Steph got carried to a ring by his system when lebrons 2 best players went down thats pretty pathetic. On top of that he couldnt even get FMVP. Then lebrons came back full strength and pretty much dominated your boy curry down the stretch last year.

Then warriors knew they need more help and got KD to counter lebrons GOATness, true story.
