It's just sad that the one team to make some noise and had the best change of beating JUICE, was sabotaged at the end of the year and missed out on the yoffs.

You can bet that when JUICE finally does play Miami in the playoffs, the JUICE spot will be off limits, Riley will have the spot burned to the fucking ground.
Rat better not shut the juice spot down!

Lebron had an awesome game yesterday, played 42 mins and didn't look like he was trying hard or tired. All of this before he even starts hitting the lab up. Dude is a beast.

MJ + Scottie + Magic + James Worthy + Hakeem

vs.

Lebron + Kobe + Larry + Kareem + Duncan

James Worthy was a great player, but he doesn't belong in that game. Scottie's defense on Bern is the only reason I'm not saying that about him as well.

who's larry bird seriously going to guard in that matchup?

or magic for that matter?

something that gets left out when discussing the GOATness of those two

Bird is too slow to defend superstars 1-on-1 all game, but his defense was underrated. He had great hands and instincts. Despite his short career he was 25th all-time in defensive WS (granted team impact probably big there), but he was also 25th all-time in steals/gm and 31st in total steals (those may be out of date, I remember seeing them a couple years ago and being a little shocked, possible some players have passed him since). In the playoffs he's top ten in both steals and DWS.

Also, before the team got stacked with McHale and Parrish, it was Bird who turned them from a bottom 3 defensive team in 78-79 into a top ten defensive squad his rookie year (when he lead the league in DWS).

Wow, hadn't looked at Bird's stats in a while. He actually lead the league in DWS 4 times and was top 5 seven times. He only lead in OWS once. Those seasons all came before his back became a major issue, not surprisingly.

All NBA teams out. No big surprises. Raul24 didn't make it, so he's probably gone from Indy.

1st
Bern, Bronk, Beard, Brow, Kiwi

2nd
Greek Freak, The Butler, Gobert, FitP, IT

3rd
WallGOAT, Butthead, Gaymon, DeCandre, Derocan

lmao @ a dude who couldn't even get his team to the playoffs being on the first team.

naaaaaah.

You answered your own question

Bird and magic guard each other

Lmao at some schmuck voting LeBron for 2nd team. Does Riley have a vote?

Bird grabbed a lot of rebounds on a -relatively- good defensive team. This is "defensive" win shares in a nutshell.

A worthless, gutter shit statistic.

Yet they were a terrible defense (bottom 3 based on Opponents PPG, FG% and the advanced stats) the year before he got there, and with no other major additions, immediately became an above average defense when he got there as a rookie. It wasn't just his rebounding. Also improved by 32 wins.

Uh, IWB, it was the 70s/80s ROFL. Nobody gave a shit about defense and nobody should take any "statistics" from that era seriously on any level.
