Mack's going to want a back loaded deal as well.
His will work out fine. They arent planning to stay in Oak the entire time before LV is ready.

Apparently Carr gets 40 at signing and 70 is guaranteed.

I wonder how much Staffterds extension will be for after seeing this contract.

MJD talking about how its better to not be a first round pick. Makes sense.

You basically trade guaranteed money for an earlier free agency. Works for non busts lol

Wonder if they'll give Reid full control.

Reid isn't a bad coach, he did well with Alex Smith under center and a pretty low key team. So maybe a GM that can sniff out better talent in FA and the draft would help.

Or, they'll continue to stumble their may between mediocre and good records while starring in post-season snuff films. Could go either way.

Reid is a damn good coach and youre hard pressed to find much better. They arent just out there to be had.

The most reasonable rumor Ive heard on the radio (from an unnamed source within Arrowhead) is that Clark Hunt went to Dorsey and offered the same terms (in years) as Reid, and Dorsey turned it down and said he wanted to finish out his contract which ends in 2017. Hunt took this to mean he was hedging his bets -rumors of Dorsey reuniting with GB have always been there- and Clark basically told him that it would be best for both sides for them to part ways...essentially firing Dorsey, but Dorsey in this scenario sounds like he was forcing his hand.

Add that to the Maclin debacle, multiple years of cap hell, Berry not going to training camp because he was mad about negotiations...Dorsey is a solid talent evaluator but seems like there was some kind of rift brewing between players, coach, and GM

Hope this tumult is just a sign of deeper problems that will result in years of ineffective play on the field.
