most difficult ufc submission ever pulled off

Kenny Robertson actually did hit the Suloev Stretch in the UFC on I believe it was Brock Jardine.

Youre right

And iirc Cerrone had the same position but head/arm not body-lock and reached for the leg (which is best way to finnish topside triangle from back) and almost hit the kneebar over Bendos shoulder, not so much a stretch as Bendo is flexible as fuck but straight kneebar....

Can't believe no mention of the flying scissors, Chonan v Silva.
that was a great one but it wasn't in the UFC. If they changed UFC to MMA in the title it would have probably been mentioned right away.

DJ’s armbar won’t be seen again because we are unlikely to see a mismatch of that calibre again. Considering the opponents, Mir’s unconscious rolling armbar on Nog and Rothwell’s gogo choke on Barnett were insanely difficult
Mir's rolling kimura*

Mir didn't sub Nog with an armbar; it was a kimura. And not a particularly difficult sub to pull off, which makes it the more surprising that Nog got caught with it.
Exactly. And Nog just got too cute with Mir in that exchange. Trying to peek out like that, leaving his arm behind was something he could get away with with lesser grapplers, but Mir just latched on. It was a great exchange and credit to Mir, but Nog set himself up for it

Brett Johns calf slicer was excellent.
Very hard to set up in MMA.

my guess would be he took it for granted that Mir was still hurt and was overconfident. But once Mir has a submission attempt he usually finishes

The Twister seems like the most difficult to pull off.

Transitions are being confused with submissions.
