"Bigots"? "Intolerant"?
They even let retards into their inner circle

Check out the estrogen induced tits on the skinny fat poindexter.

That was an alt-right rally though. You may call them all the same ideologically but they're not the same people at all.
Those that are alt right that I've come in contact with are some of the most racist people I've ever spoke with. I get that this is an alt-right rally but there is probably a good deal of Neo Nazi and KKK who were present at the rally last night.

Torches probably weren't the best choice for their symbol of unification...

Saw this right before I was about to go to bed. Was trying to read up on what this "Unite the Right" rally was and some are claiming it is a rally of White Supremacists (I hope not) and some are claiming it is an alt-right rally. (Big Difference)

Since I am being lazy and am about to go to sleep....hopefully someone can tell me what it is. Not sure if I trust the few news sources that I skimmed over.

Anyway....whatever is going on here sparked some nice meltdowns:

20 Stood Against Many (WHERE ARE YOU!?)

Spolier (Includes a great line about a dreidel

Again. I am lazy. Let me know what this rally is and I will check in the morning if this "low effort" thread isn't in the dump.

I believe it is the largest gathering of white supremacists, kkk, and neo nazis in decades.

The KKK has ~3,000 members in the US, most of them old men. I think it's very unlikely they have anything to do with alt-right gatherings.
They're arguably less relevant than the alt-right these days.

ok?

They were still there

I'm not sure. I'm not saying the alt-right is not racist or that they don't sympathize with the same ideas as the KKK. It's just that they're different groups of people. The KKK is kind of a closed group and they do their own thing.
Just like fascists and national socialists were not the same, one was an italian party and the other a german party.

This whole protest is about the removal of a confederate statue and renaming of local parks - basically, it's about thr "white washing" of the areas history and heritage. So I'm sure a lot of the protestors you'll see aren't white supremacist, klansman, alt-right knights or neonazais - just a buncha local boys unashamed of their rebel heritage.

Pretty sure some of them were throwing out Sieg Heils yesterday.

Just your defense seems a bit odd here.

It's clearly a racist rally. Does it matter if the KKK were there or not?

It seems likely there is a fair bit of cross pollination between the alt-right, neo nazis, kkk, and other white nationalist groups.

I will say that this is pretty funny.

Virtue signaling professor: Imagine being half as brave as this black teen standing dead center in a circle of racist white nationalists with torches

Rebuttals: He's one of THE organisers
Bahahahahahahahaha....... He fucking organised the march you nitwits.

Tweet was deleted, of course.

I must admit, I didn't know a black man had organized this march. I thought it was a Richard Spencer thing. Guess I shouldn't have trusted the early reports - as always. That douche probably just tried to infiltrate the march.

Still, marching with torches is retarded.

The triggered male... female... zir... whatever in the OP did make me laugh.

What IRL contact have you made with the alt-right? These dudes mostly larp on the interwebs.

This event may be about some statue, but we'd be remiss to look at this event in a vacuum. Since before Trump was elected there were a few sane voices warning about the dangers of identity politics and what would eventually occur if it continues unchecked. Peterson himself made this claim early on before he was a pop culture figure.

You can't alienate the majority group by dehumanizing them as being uniquely evil and expect nothing to happen. You can't let academia make these same claims and not expect some resistance. Society as a whole, including the media, has to stop demonizing the straight white man and the Trump supporter. And yes, the Alt-Right likewise needs to stop focusing on race.

It's hardly too late. Here we have a few hundred, maybe a thousand demonstrators marching on the street, and from what I understand, largely without incident, but if we don't change the course this is only going to get worse.

Then: athletic, handsome
