Is stipe miocic right to feel disrespected by the UFC?

Stipe FANS be like: Woodley complaining about the UFC = bad. Stipe complaining about the same = good. Get teh fook outa heya.

Stipe is the silent majority. Just a poor Croat whom everybody ignores while living the fancy life in the big castles.

But if he beats this arrogant African, he'll restore Croatian faith in Croatia. It will be a new spring for Croats everywhere.

<LatsRickStory>

Go fook yourself in your humble croat shithouse.

Not really sure what would constitute respect? He’s being paid handsomely and his fights don’t really sell. There is not really a big superstar fight to be made at heavyweight. It’s pretty much always been the worst division in the UFC. It’s smart for them to market his opponent because they have to build up something.
There's never gonna be another Lesnar

50-50 honestly, I feel his actions in the octagon should be enough (his highlight reel if there is one would be amazing).
On the other hand, his interviews are just really simple or bland. It's hard to promote a person who is like that.

Personally if he goes out puts a dominant performance against Ngannou he will get some of that shine and the UFC would have to embrace his personality.

Pulling that bullshit line about Ford Escort and sledgehammers in the middle of the presser while the champion sits right next to him ? Of course he is disrespected.

Someone give Stipe and his ball-suckers some pacifier. Ngannou barely spoke English two years ago, was homeless 5 years ago, yet still out there promoting the fight. Stipe doesn't even want to do press conferences. Who the fook will the UFC spend more effort on, the immigrant or the entitled American who PPV numbers sucks?

Whether he wants to or not doesn't matter, he still does it. Not only that, but I'm assuming you're not much of a Miocic fan, but if you saw his Twitter page, you would know that the guy is always doing in-store appearances.

You say Ngannou is out there promoting it, what has he done that Miocic hasn't? I remember both being there for the press conference and the conference call.

Maybe you saw him on a street corner handing out flyers for the fight?

Entitled American? He's one of the most humble and down to earth guys on the roster, humble enough to remain a part time firefighter.

Speaking of being humble, Ngannou seems to be getting less and less so himself as the hype around him has grown.

Hyping the challenger in a way is also hyping that the champion by default. I mean if you say the challenger is a nobody then no one would care for that title defense.

Tough question. He is right that the UFC wants Francis to win. He is likely to have answers first

Standard UFC tactics. They see Ngannou as a potentially bigger draw as a champ. Stipe is awesome but he only seems to show it in the cage and he doesn't leave a lasting affect I suppose....while I keep seeing the Ngannou Overeem ko on sherdog and facebook. Just typical UFC shadyness.

I think he's being a little over sensitive about it. The UFC hasn't really promoted Ngannou any more than Stipe. I would argue that the UFC should be advertising Ngannou way more because he's unknown while Stipe has been around a while and you need both sides to sell the fight.

Sure. Because they have both been complaining about the exact same things. Stipe really needs to stop pulling his race card. It’s getting old.

Damn right he's about to break the HW title defense record and the UFC hardly mentioned it if at all because they're too busy promoting Ngannou expecting him to run over Stipe.

It's odd to say the least, UFC obviously wants Ngannou to win and they don't even hide their bias anymore.

Easier for them cause francis likes the promotion side while stipe is " meh whatever i guess"

Might agree if someone actually quantified what promotional opportunities have been given to Ngannou but denied to Stipe. Until then, it is just people talking out of their shit hole.

Its hard to promote a guy who doesn't even try and deep down, doesnt want to do business, but wants all the perks

Let’s not lie to ourselves, if Ngannou Overeem’s Stipe in the first, it’s best for the future of the HW division. With that being said, I’m looking forward to my boy breaking the record.

Despiste the video, i ask you sherdog...

Is stiopic right to feel disrespected by the UFC?

I think so, but can you blame the UFC?
Stiopic is a promotional nightmare, and ngannou is perfect.

If stipe wants to keep away from the spotlight good for him... But he has to accept what comes with the territory

Discuss

He can go back to firefighting full time if he feels disrespected. I'm not sure why he would feel that way though, I think most people who express that are projecting
The big difference is that for some reason only Tyrone blames it on racism.

Probably for the same reason the UFC ass kissed, acquiesced to and hyped up Conor, Brock, and Rhonda, despite having different nationalities, genders and fighting styles. They had one thing in common though, hmmmm.....
.

yes. this is the first time I'm rooting for stipe.
