I thought season 5 was regarded as the worst. I'm not a fan of season 4 either.
I lost interest in BE when they killed Jimmy.

I thought Jimmy sucked tbh. Richie was the true G.

I re watched the wire on amazon prime .sopranos was only good for 2 seasons and basically became a comedy from seasons 3-6.

I thought it was more comedy than drama.

drama was the anchor, & off into the sea of comedy the show took its course.

that's why its one of my all time favs.

Mad Men is probably the most boring show in the history of shows. Nothing ever happens in that show. Just some identity thief getting drunk and cheating on his wife because his depressed that his mom was a hooker.

Game Of Thrones = Arguable.

Rome = Had potential, but let's be honest. It's ONE great season. The second season is a mess due to cancellation rush.

Breaking Bad = Arguable.

Homeland = Not even close.

Shameless = Not even close.

Sleeper Cell = Haven't seen.

Entourage = Better that The Sopranos? LOL. Yeah, smoke some more crack.


Agree on Mad Men. Looks good, but incredibly repetitive in structure and theme.

I started The Sopranos last week too. I saw some of it before but never made it all the way through.

It definitely has some alright moments but you're right that it doesn't even come close to The Wire.

I instantly bookmarked the Drop when I heard that two of my favourite actors are starring in it. Didn't turn out as good as I hoped but still a solid movie. RIP Jimmy.

This is brutal to watch with that whole City Council /Mayor/Student Body bullshit. Carcetti and the guy who says SHEEEEEET are annoying. Also Avon or Stinger could of been around at least 1 more season.

while i think most people liked the street level shit the most, what sets the wire apart was how it showed the problems at every level in baltimore. from street crimes, to schools, the the politicians, to how the police department is run etc. and somehow ties it all together. i think thats what makes it one of the GOAT shows
