Question came up on Luke Thomas’ live chat last week and I think it makes for an interesting discussion.

Who is the greatest fighter to never win in the UFC? This can only include fighters who fought in the UFC so no Fedor, and to start the conversation I’ll throw in Jay Hieron and Kid Yamamoto

It's Kid. Had he made it in before his knees got fucked, he'd have been a terror.

Damn Phillipe Nover won one fight during his 2nd UFC run. Would have been him otherwise

The "won one fight only" answer might be Giblert.

I was pretty sure Jorge Santiago was a solid answer, but he's actually 1-5 in the UFC. Dude beat Khalidov, Bahadurzada, Misaki twice, Nakamura, Prangley...

Petruzelli wasn't great, still a bit better than his 0-2 UFC record says.

Even though he looked like a fool that never belonged and ended-up 0-3 in the UFC, Ruediger was somehow a three time WEC champ.

    I'd say Sakuraba
But he only fought one dude in the UFC so not sure if that's what the argument is seeking

Tiki only lost to Lawler because of a cut. That doesn't count.
