Fedor's Garry Goodridge win is one of the biggest in Heavyweight history.

Again, GSP became a much better fighter after that fight hence it not being his prime. I don’t think you understand the concept
regroup youself, lil noob... u seem completly lost...

lol Fedor didn't have anything close to resembling elite striking you schmuck.

If you only watched chuck Liddell against Keith Jardine, you’d think his striking acumen was mediocre too. Thanks for proving you haven’t done your homework and/or your clinical retardation.

He's not an elite striker either.

And there's other fights besides Mitrione. Lmao

You are either a troll or terribly informed.

Fedor was statistically the least hit fighter in the sport for several years. He absorbed less strikes per minute than even Anderson and Machida.

He was the fastest HW other than Cro Cop, he had KO power, extremely accurate, and was mathematically the most elusive fighter in MMA.

Fedor was 40 when he fought Mitrione and Fedor lost to Bigfoot by doctor stoppage between rounds. It was either a cut or damage to his eye to make then doctor stop it but Fedor was not finished and did not give up. Bigfoot did most damage from the mount, not on the feet.

Fedor survived Bigfoot's mount while Conor rolled over and gave Nate his back to find a way out of the fight.

And GSP wasn’t in his prime. For hardcore fans though

Yup. None of Fedor's, GSP's or Anderson's losses came during their primes. People don't realize how short an athlete's prime is - its why very few Olympic gold medalists can repeat, even though the Olympics are only four years apart.

Look at his fucking opponents ya dolt!
Yatsu PRO FAKE WRASSLER WITH 0-0 no MMA fights fighting a guy with 23 pro MMA fights
Schreiber 17-9 decent win
20-10 definition of a gatekeeper
Jan 1-4
Yatsu 0-1
Labasanav 7-4
Van dams 0-1 MMA

So goodridge had 2 decent wins and a 1 loss in that 7 fight streak. ZOMG SO AMAZING. Yet you fedor revisionist donks shit on GSP for fighting 30-7 mw champ coming out of retirement. Fuck outta here!!!
Lmao /thread

People still talk up the hunt win though.

Striking..

All this + KO power, Iron Chin and probably legal PEDs

In Frye's defense, he should not have been in the ring that night. He was being held together by tape and pain killers. Frye could barely move.

I think he faced 2 studs in Nog and CC. A good fighter, but glass Jaw in Arlovski. Hunt is better now than he was then as is Werdum, and possibly Reem. But the rest of the top guys he faced, although not cans like haters say, are very beatable guys with tons of losses...Guys like Randleman, Coleman, Rogers, Herring, Babalu cant be considered fantastic wins...they all lost to lesser fighters before and after Fedor.

Arlovski was in the top five at the time when Fedor fought him. It doesn't matter what kind of chin a fighter has, they'd have been knocked out by that right that Fedor threw in that bout. "But, he was winning" as the kids said at the time.....Sure he was. Arlovski landed a push kick and Fedor slipped everything else. That was probably Fedor's greatest technical stand up performance. It was fantastic.

Hunt was up and down in terms of effort given. When he first came to MMA from K-1 he was an absolute novice on the mat, but Yoshida with a gi really had to really work to beat him. The only time Hunt looked bad in PRIDE was against Barnett who blew through him on the ground. You could tell that Hunt did work on a lot of sub defense after the fight with Barnett. Hunto, put up a good fight, but Fedor was "the shit" according to Hunt and showed why. Fedor had to curtail his training due to a broken toe for that bout as well (if it matters). Hunt made Fedor work.

In DREAM, Hunt let everything slide. Don't even pretend like that was the same fighter; his conditioning was dog shit. Hunt even admitted it. It wasn't until after he lost to Corkle that Hunt woke up and took fighting seriously again.

It doesn't matter if the other fighters lost fights or not. They were all dangerous and had their moments on top during their careers. Everyone loses, except Fedor at the time -- not counting the TK fiasco.

Wanderlei Silva paid Fedor the ultimate compliment when he said "nobody wants to face Fedor." Moreover, the haters always think they know better. Plenty of fighters from all organizations said that Fedor was the best fighter.

GSP lost to Serra and Hughes while he was still young and in his prime in his 20s.

Fedor lost to Werdum, Bigfoot and Hendo AFTER his 10 year streak. Fedor was 33 and 34 for those losses. He wanted a rematch with Werdum but it never happened.

PRIDE allowed Fedor to avenge his "loss" to TK. Had he lost in PRIDE he probably would have got a rematch but he didn't lose for 10 years.

Strikeforce was bought out by UFC.

And he had offers to come to the ufc to fight werdum, bigfoot, and mw hendo where they were all under contract…what did he do???? Sign with shitty Japan promotion to fight 2 fight experience jaideep (now 2-3)…

He was done at that point. He lives on the other side of the world too. Japan is very close to Russia. Fedor was close to the Rizin officials. Same people that ran PRIDE. Contract negotiations never worked out with Dana so no surprise he had that exhibition fight in Rizin. He was already far past his prime anyway

So many excuses starting to feel like fedor is Brazilian. He avoided the 3 men that fucked him up to fight 2 fight fighter jaideep!!! A guy with 39 pro fights fights a guy with 2 fights!!! This is why his “legacy” is tainted. GSP just came out of retirement to fight 30-7 champ. Wtf was fedors excuse again??? Because he didn’t like Dana and he was mean to him?!?! LOL

Hey aleast fedor is trying to avenge his loss to nfl reject with shot knees in mitrione!
