Cops arrest 2 black men for no reason in Starbucks

For those of you saying the should have left cause they didn't buy anything:

The Starbucks official acknowledged that the incident is at odds with a common practice at Starbucks. The stores are “community” hubs, the official said, where people often drop in to use the WiFi or chat with friends without necessarily buying anything.

That might refer to regular customers who might, on occasion, not buy anything. Is this a Starbucks owned store or a franchise store? How can you make money to keep the store open if nobody buys anything?

Maybe they wanted to order when their friend showed up, people do wait for others in a group to show up.

And read my post above on Starbucks company practice of selling themselves as a community hub where people can lounge there without buying anything.

It's not your position to tell a private business when a customer needs to order. I don't care if some Starbucks encourage loitering. The ones in my area do not!

Think about what u are saying happened here? You really think this is racism?

If we caught u on video for 2 min escorting a black man off your property how would u like people jumping to judgement on your motives?

These are people running a business. Trying to get through their days. But u just jump to silly conclusions.

It's BS that some on here are pushing. Starbucks is cool with people waiting around who buy something. But not people just coming in and sitting there with nothing to drink and hanging with no one who is ordering

Basically, there are some posters in here not being honest

If you're implying that the manager is racist you probably should've chosen a better thread title. Most people are taking your thread to mean that these bully cops arrested these two guys for no reason and therefore are addressing that issue. We don't know what was going through the manager's mind or what type of person that he is.

He says in the OP the cops should be fired

Consider the source. Dude's a weak minded gimp when it comes to police stuff. Bizarre hatred and rage towards police. The c#nt even admits it.

Starbucks officials disagree with you.

Uhhhh. Read the actual Starbucks response on company policy of asking people to leave. It's in the article

Lol at Starbucks and their SJW garbage having the tables turned on them

Yea. I sorta got that feeling

LOL at people comparing buying a drink and chilling and 2 dudes throwing a stake in the ground and ordering nothing.

So what if the entire sitting area had nothing but people not ordering anything. Just LOL

The official narrative is that two black men were meeting a friend there for a cup of coffee, when racist starbucks employees and police threw them out for being black.

What really happened - Two men entered a starbucks and one asked where the restroom was. The employee told the man the restroom was for paying customers only. This particular starbucks has a problem with homeless black crackheads loitering in it, which is obviously bad for business.

Instead of offering to purchase something, the black man mouthed off to the employee, at which point the men were asked to leave. They refused to leave and the police were called. When the police arrived, they explained that they were trespassing and asked them to leave. One of the men insulted the policeman by pointing out his meager salary. The police offered them multiple opportunities to leave. After they refused, they were arrested for trespassing.

Yup...

Starbucks does not have a companywide policy on asking members of the public to leave, a company official said. The company leaves safety and customer service protocol decisions up to store managers, said a company official who declined to give a name to freely describe internal discussions. Managers may leave restroom doors unlocked or add key-code entries if they feel the store is more at risk of criminal behavior. A store in the same area of Philadelphia was hit with an armed robbery recently, the official said.

Question, wouldn't a manager legally need a delegation of authority for a manager to have the legal authority to remove anyone?

I understand that this is probably one of those 1,000's of laws we pretend don't exist, but if the law is the law, shouldn't we all have to follow whatever the law actually says?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a phone call from the owner can serve as a delegation of authority, and this hurdle would be easily cleared, but I bet they didn't actually do that.
I'm assuming that authority is automatically dropped down to manager on shift

How's it racist to know that races are different? I don't care if people think I'm racist. I'm open about my views on it and don't hide from the truth like most others do. If something is a fact, then it's not racist and don't be scared to admit it.

I think the most racist people are people from the left. They treat you differently based on your race.

Everyone is so afraid to be called a racist.... when usually the person calling others a racist is actually a racist

What gets me is te double standard.

Example:

It's okay to say "black people are fast sprinters" but not okay to say "black people __(fill in the blank with anything not positive)__"

Same for many other races...

Yea, perfectly ok to say blacks are superior runners, football players or whatever. . you even hint at saying whites are smarter or better in any way, you are a racist and could lose your job.

There are a million double standards when it comes to racism

Too bad common practice is not company policy

Notice no mention of bathroom policy

You guys won! The Evil Racist Manager Bitch lost her job.

There was a mention. Read it again.
