McGregor just has a 25min free advertisement in the middle at of NYC with over 2 million YouTube views of the conference. Safe to say with the decent price point he's gonna clean up well. It's no top shelf whisky but then again it's not trying to be.

For a MMA fighters debut Whiskey which just got promoted last night. This is one smaller store in an area with about 8 stores in a 7mile radius. Is it fucking ciroc dropping? No. Still quite a bit of interest for the area we're in.

The article you just linked says: ”McGregor tried close to 100 blends before settling on the contents of the Proper No. Twelve bottle. The whiskey was blended in Bushmills by David Elder– formerly of Guinness and who McGregor describes as his Master Distiller – and then bottled in Bushmills.

There is no repackaging, this is a unique whiskey. It is bottled at Bushmills and produced in association with Proximo but make no mistake about it Conor has given us an all new whiskey that is going to take over the game.
