Congressman Trey Gowdy says Clinton investigation goes deeper than anyone knows

It makes perfect sense to open this probe along with the Trump one. Lynch compromised that investigation the moment she met with Bill in private, right before Hillary's hearing. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being honest.

She belongs in prison. It's amazing to watch Liberals discount confirmed National Security crimes she has committed and attack Trump for no confirmed crimes at all. It's a bizarre world they live in.
Dems are soulless.

You've been misled by a really dishonest OP.

Well this was a hilarious attempt at deflection gone wrong. Now back to Russia....

Cliffs:
--While he doesn't agree with Comey's decision to not recommend indicting Hillary, after receiving classified intel, he understands why Comey did it.
--Said that Comey's primary goal was to give the American public confidence in the investigation. Says he can't say more because its classified.
--Host asks if he is suggesting that the are more entanglement between Justice department and Clinton than anyone understands. Gowdy responds "you are very perceptive".

In case it wasn't obvious before, Comey knew Hillary was caught with her hand in the cookie jar, but had his hands tied because he knew the DOJ was protecting her. If he had recommended to indict her, the whole thing would have become a shitslingingfest between the DOJ and Obama vs. the FBI and Congress. So Comey made the wrong decision, but the one he felt would best preserve the confidence of the people in our system.

The real question now is what is going to happen as this investigation goes forward under a new FBI. Are they going to look into Lynch's secret meeting with Bill Clinton aboard his jet? Did Obama direct the DOJ to block for Hillary? Its clear that we need a special prosecutor to go back over everything that was done and make sure it was all legal. I think anyone left or right can agree on that.

Haha. Who wants to bet money that as soon as the russia thing picks up, all of a sudden we are going to see movement again on clinton.

I hope they both go down in flames.

What is the case for there being any wrongdoing?

Here you go. He details the wrongdoings in his announcement then says the following as part of his conclusion.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/f...ry-clintons-private-email-use/article/2595607

Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person's actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past.

In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts. All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here.

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.

When he says sanctions he means punishment. Most people would agree that if you've done nothing wrong then you shouldn't be punished. Not terribly difficult here to understand that he's saying she did the shit she was accused of and that while it's not criminal enough to pursue charges it was worthy of disciplinary action.

Funny thing then that millions of dollars and hundreds if not thousands of man hours spent on investigating her have turned up NO crimes.

What the fuck? Comey gave a 13 minute speech detailing all her crimes.

Gowdybot still running Clinton 16 software. We thought it was an upgrade over the Benghazi package, but the program is still getting caught in infinite loops.
Nevermind lol. This was a bunch of bullshit by a bullshit TS. Glad Gowdy isn't wasting our time when real shit is happening right now.

Crimes lead to criminal charges lead to trials.
All them crimes...

Unless you're an elite democrat. Not indicted ≠ innocent. Comey
didn't indict because he said he couldn't find intent. Which the statute does not require. She committed egregious felonies. You're going way, way beyond willful ignorance. She's a fucking crook.

Hm. What sounds like a crime but isn't?
What we hold against Hillary because nothing stuck.

I hope they also have proof for their disgusting PEDO-network + human trafficking

TS wins the title for "most rabid but Hillary poster of the month".

You're being incredibly dishonest. Everyone knows she broke the law. I know you're not stupid.
I agree that some of that shit stunk, but to my knowledge nothing rose to the level of criminality but I'm open to seeing a list of crimes

So an investigation turned up not even enough evidence to indict, much less convict, but she belongs in prison? We're not a banana republic that just throws the losing candidate in jail for the crime of going against the president.

We're like a banana republic because our elite class can get away with crimes that we normal citizens can not get away with. That's very unAmerican. Titles of nobility are prohibited in the Constitution.
