Cities: Skylines (No Relation To Cities XL)

You don't need a separate sewer line, just connect the drain to water lines. If you zoom close enough you can see that those pipes have both water and sewer line inside them.

thanks. I bet that is what cause my problem.

hahaha helicopter mod is great.

Someone made this:

I don't really know how to use 6 lane roads, everything that connects to them seems to make intersection that affects all 6 lanes, instead of say, merging with the other 3.

In other news, game has sold more than 1 million now.

Found that on the workshop. Good highway->surface intersection. I built a smaller version that's similar but it's completes raised.

My latest effort.

I started with the NG+ mod and modified my beginning money and available items. The town makes money now at roughly 3,000 people. I started with $4m and still have about $3,400,000 after several demolitions. I think you can start off well balanced with about $400k.

Industry is up top, commerce on the right and residential on the left. No traffic issues yet, and there shouldn't be in the future because each "zone" is fairly self contained and not much reason for excess traffic to move through any single place.

My last city I built up with normal settings to $30k+ revenue and 30k residents. I think that $1-1person ratio is about right if not optimal. I wasn't happy with the traffic infrastructure though, so I scrapped it and started on a new map. This one is called "Pearl Beach".

One thing I've found is that the traffic tool only tracks the amount of vehicles which pass over a spot (or spend significant time there). So I have a few places where there's no congestion at all that still read bright red. But it doesn't matter because everyone is getting where they need to quickly.

For kicks, here's the rural highway/street-level intersection I made. It's fairly compact. But honestly, The Exchange is much better.
