I should have stuck with my initial lean on Budd. Coenen retired. At least the over 2½ hit. Smallish 1.52 unit loss.

Poor Girtz got robbed, I had it 29-28 for him. Judges are delusional, feel sorry for anyone that was on Girtz.

LOL at Conen, some of the worst TDD I've seen, terrible athlete too. Budd looked like she was 10x stronger. What a boring fight too, nearly fell asleep.

no regrets on girtz.

i had it 29-28 gonz.. but i swear, it could've been ANYTHING from 30-26 gonz to 29-28 girtz.
rd 1 was girtz's i really thought, but not unthinkable for a judge to give it to gonz. i guess.
rd 2 was a total coinflip. girtz bad body language but he still clocked gonz a LOT and what, 4 more takedowns? it was a close round
rd 3 arguably 10-8. not gonna dispute that. (with new criteria).
girtz wins if they weigh the same. confident in that. not that that means anything.

...that said, coenen was a square bet. there was actually SOLID value on budd -150ish.

oh and holy f'ing shit, lovato junior is a scary dude. i'm aware he fought a nobody but he has some freakin physical gifts and he's clearly not just bjj.

Yeah pretty lame but Dufresne missed weight by like 5 lbs when they fought so I am guessing that would be their (albeit shady) justification.

Could have seen a rematch but a title fight was lulz
