Beaulieu Boxing Equipment

Very confusing to both top boxer and myself. Top Boxer is a supplier of the very best boxing equipment. He makes gear for my line as well as others. I'm not a middleman, but rather a boxing equipment seller, which I've done since 1984. My wife and I made our own gear in our own shop till all the tanneries in our area closed. It became necessary to travel to NYC to buy leather, which was a 500 mile turn around. Muhammad contacted me in 2012 asking for my business. We agreed and have been associates ever since. He makes the very best equipment on the market today, IMO. Several posters have been very negative toward our efforts and hide behind user names. Funny, none contact me via email to complain, however, I get positive feedback on our gear all the time. And yes, many have asked the different methods available for payment. I mentioned we accept Paypal, money order and also Western Union.............Many don't have PayPal and only asked of other methods of payment options. Everyone has the option of buying any brand they want. Thank those that have supported us since our association with Top boxer since 2012.

Or go to TopBoxer. The actual manufacturer of custom boxing equipment resellers like Beaulieu Boxing or Bill Boxing.
All this with more options and a much lower price.....due to not being a reseller who doesn't actually make anything.

I thought it was to discuss gear. Not for commercial exploitation. No selling/advertising allowed.

There's a lot of info posted about the differences between what products Topboxer offers compared to what Beauliue offers. This part of the forum is a good place to get in touch with these providers and for people to talk about the products. There's no need for comments asking about whether they can plug there stuff here cos then we risk losing that connection with all of these vendors.
Sounds like you've got a problem with Bill, if you don't want to buy from him then simply order from someone else, no need to run him down here to make a point for yourself .

And I don't understand how that loses your connection with them. If you have a question and they have an answer then this is the place.
If they want to shill, they can pay for advertising or try craigslist.

If he can shill then so can I. And I will shill random manufacturers.
Unless some mod tells me that those rules listed against shilling are no good.

Might be better taking to a cobbler or some such, it doesn't seem cost-effective to my eyes to ship gloves to Pakistan and back just to get them repaired. But maybe these are super special/rare type ones you're thinking of?

definitely not worth it to send back overseas imo. I've never had anything repaired by a cobbler, but I've had friends that have had very positive experiences with the ones they've used.

what are you trying to have fixed by the way? I only ask because if it's a liner issue, or even something with padding, John Golomb can fix literally anything with your gloves, even if that means replacing components. That being said, I don't think his services are cheap, but I do know that people have sent him gloves to have completely re-lined and re-padded (horsehair padding).

also, to the two that are bickering about Bill... Bill is extremely knowledgeable about boxing equipment. Though he doesn't always make the most insightful comments, he occasionally does give useful input. Better to email Bill if you have specific questions as I don't believe he's too prone to have a conversations here on the forums.

Yes, he does come back every couple of weeks or so to give his plug and remind everyone he's still around with his usual line. To a certain extent, he's advertising his wares, but Bill posting his email and giving a brief list of his wares/payment methods isn't the worst I've seen on the forums in terms of advertising. Yes, technically Bill is a middleman and it's great that we can go to TB directly, but you cannot deny Bill's contributions to the G&E community. I'm pretty sure that Bill actually helped open the door to our direct line of communication with those in Pakistan. I know that he's also partnered with a couple manufacturers and provided patterns as well as input.

Bill, if you're reading this, I don't think that you should've posted pictures of actual Dan Mosby Flores gloves, since whatever version of the gloves you're able to provide is nowhere near Dan's work. It irks me that you throw the "Flores" name around like so, even if you carefully disclose that your wares are "Flores-style". Aren't your old school gloves made from the Spartan pattern, and not the Mosby pattern anyways? The 4th and 5th pictures in your "Old School" reply earlier in the thread may be your label, but they aren't what is being produced and I think that can be very misleading.
