Back From The Dead

Looks good, man.

Keep it up!

thanks.

Sometimes I feel like I'm barely getting a workout in with 5/3/1. Hopefully I'll shake that feeling once I starting going increasing my working maxes again

Ok Update...

School just started and I have am once again taking a fitness class. Unfortunately, the teacher is an idiot who only allows us to use machines. My plan to stay sane is to run for as much as possible during the class and minimize the amount of time I have to spend on the machines. Also, I am going to start doing 20 rep squats on the weekends so that I can feel like I am doing something.

Ok so the semester is over and I'm finished with my shitty fitness class so there are no excuses anymore. Started lifting real weights again today. I also remembered why I hate working out in the winter...my garage has no insulation.

Not too bad for a first workout back. I expected to be a lot weaker. I guess I was able to keep some of my strength since I wasn't completely sedentary these past 3-4 months

Went well. At a weight now where the last few reps of the last set are challenging

Good weight. I think I started off a bit light, the 10 lb jump was a good choice.

Deadlift
320x5
A bit more difficult than I would have like it to be. I narrowed up my feet a bit to get better leverage on the bar. The awkwardness of a new set-up might have been the reason, but whatever the weight went up.

Wasn't too happy with this one. I had to push press a couple of times during different set. Not going to increase the weight just yet

my grip was a bit off today from working it yesterday so I decreased the number of reps and increase the number of sets. Still the same volume.

Nice pressing, Steve.

Thanks. Upper body lifts have been the bane of my existence since I started lifting. Luckily, I was able to keep most of my strength despite being at a lower body weight and taking time off from lifting.
