Bit of a shame towards the end of the year with the run of bad results , hopefully Volkanosvki closes it out with a win.
Hopefully the losses motivate rather than hinder but eyes have been opened. All of them need to take lessons from Whittaker on how to work towards a victory. Generally his game plan is on song and even when something goes wrong ie broken hand / bad leg etc he is still able to make slight adjustments to fight intelligently.
The heart has been on display along with some poor fight iq decisions. Which seems to be the overall downfall atm.
Jake Mathews 2 rounds up. Horrible takedown attempt. Bang choked out. Didn't tap. Has a tendency to go for badly timed takedowns when there is no need.
Solution lose dad as head coach. City kickboxing and training with rob.
Tyson Pedro. Twice winning fight on feet ends up clinching aggressively. 1 loss to osp by sub. Against shogun ruined his leg still tried to fight. Couldn't stand back up tko. Solution leave huntos side and train apart from Tai. Work on wrestling. See rob.
Tai tuivasa. Had jds wrecked with leg kicks . Rushes forwards head first. Caught in full mount trying to strike from back. Stupid. Solution . Whittaker .
Hooker . Leg wrecked by inside leg kicks. Fought Edson at edsons ideal distance. Better game plan required. Had some success trying to pressure but by round 2 he was a shell of himself .
Im not sure if Whittaker is the answer to everyones issues but there's definitely issues that need to be addressed. The athletic abilities are there, the heart is just not the brains... yet
