It doesn't pass down uniformly, it's kind of cut up and randomized. I mean you could do this and have an idea of what you probably are and be 90% right or more, but a lot of people would just prefer to know what they personally are. Like I've got the ABC11 gene but no one else in my family has it. That might mean I'm more Native American than my family or that I just express it differently than they do.
