It is actually MUCH worse since Vitor has his levels of testosterone monitored, whereas Chael was caught with 4X the level allowed by a TRT license.

Having the measure of testosterone 4X above limit is illegal use of steroids.

Vitor beat Bisping and Rockhold, and is getting major flack for his use of TRT.

Chael beat Stann and Bisping, the next two fights after getting caught cheating and basically got a free pass and people were barely mentioning TRT on those fights (look at the OP).

Chael got a BS license just because he is a huge draw and popular figure.

How can someone get a license on the fight after getting popped for having much more than the allowed level of testosterone on your system?

The difference with Vitor's case was that his PED incident was in 2006, whereas Chael's was in 2010.

Sonnen is American and he is huge draw ,FOX likes him etc.

Overeem is from Europe and has big muscle

There are people who think both are bullshit. Chael is still labeled a "Roider", and it was your homeboy Vitor that pissed hot in the past, not Chael.

So you don't think that its a little strange that Vitor can't get approval in the states now because of a failed test in 2006 but Sonnen can after failing a test in 2010?

Plus, Vitor has been cleard five times to fight in the states and once in Canada. So there is a double standard when it comes to Vitor fighting in the last couple of years.

There is definitely something to pay attention too as OP has mentioned..Vitor is being singled out...because its a good hot controversial topic that the media can exploit because unlike other TRT users, Vitor looks the part, and is winning in absolute dominating fashion.

This has nothing to do with ethnic influence.

Vitor just looks good (He has always had great genetics), and his absolutely kicking ass on a level most haven't seen from any of the other TRT users.

If your on TRT and losing, its OK by the MMA communicate.

We all know that the fans and the media decided that Vitor's TRT use is the most important topic in MMA. Every article about Vitor starts with 3 paragraphs about TRT. However, where was the hate when popular American fighters use the same TRT?

You do know what this thread is about, right?

You're either suggesting that the press are Zuffa puppets despite putting a Zuffa asset (Belfort) on blast, or you're suggesting that the press are too afraid to upset Zuffa despite putting a Zuffa asset (Belfort) on blast.

This is not a media bias issue. This is a fighter on TRT, that has been busted in the past for steroid use, fighting where his TRT isn't regulated issue.

The press wouldn't be doing its job if it didn't get on Belfort's ass about his TRT use considering the circumstances.
