Comb jellyfish

Dumbo octopus found off the coast of California

is there video of the "broadcaster booth" they're announcing from? They sound like they're having a blast.
Some of the people are on the boat and some are on land. A lot of the stuff they're seeing is rarely seen.
They do a live stream of the remote operated vehicle. They're currently heading to shore to get a cable repaired so it'll probably be a day or two before they go back underwater.

@Zookeeper Gabe how's the lady doing? Any new animals?
She doing great, I’ve actually been finding a bunch of her teeth lately. I hadn’t found after caring for her for over a year. But I’ve found 6 in the last week, I need to clean them up a bit. But they are awesome

Deep sea Octopus brooding ground off the coast of California. They've been documented to spend 4.5 years brooding in one spot. Rarely moving, never eating, etc. After the brooding, the female always dies.

Are you talking about teeth she's lost?

Yeah, sorry it’s my wedding week and my mind is all over the place. Reading that post and it’s hard to read, lol.
Yes, I’ve been finding quite a few of her teeth lately

You snake dudes should watch the first ~35 min of this, the guest has this great story about snake disease testing. You can skip to 4:30 if you want to get right into it.

This guy is 186 years old:

Jonathan (hatched c. 1832, 186 years ago)[2][3] is a Seychelles giant tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea hololissa) who is the oldest currently living terrestrial animal known.[4] Jonathan resides on the island of Saint Helena, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean.

In 2017, it was discovered that Frederica, the tortoise he has been regularly mating with since 1991, previously assumed to be a female, is probably actually a male.[9]

We have two Aldabras that are only 5 years only and they are already almost 50lbs. They are awesome and I can’t wait to work with them while they are growing
