Zookeeper Gabe's Animal Thread V6.0

Yes, of COURSE it's Australia

An Australian man reported discovering this reptilian intruder on the side of his house recently. Hanging onto a brick wall was a large Lace Monitor, also known as a Lace Goanna. The giant lizard was photographed by a New South Whales resident named Eric Holland.

What the fucking fuck, of that size can still climb walls like that?

Those rodents are cute. Can you get them as pets?

There is a park nearby Houston TX called Brazos state park or something. Basically it is a lagoonie area with lots of alligators, and there are no barriers anywhere. The gators can be up on the walking paths or even in the parking lot. I was able to very close to a few of them. I would hate to have to use their toilets though if the doors are push in. You never know if one might crawl in.

That Guinea pig /kangaroo thing is awesome. I love his acting range. He's doing comedy better that Paul Rudd.

Please, tell me that's true

Not sure if that's true, but there are some really smart monkeys out there. Two particularly incredible observations I personally made while backpacking in south east Asia in the summer of 2007 involve them:

1. In Ko Phi Phi, Thailand I saw a monkey first open and eat a bag a Doritos some retarded English woman gave, then unscrew and drink a bottle of Pepsi. Strange site, if a little upsetting to see a monkey imitating the American lifestyle.

2. Even more amazing I think was in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, I watched a monkey open a little juice box of soy milk. It actually opened it using the little plastic straw it comes with. Crazy. It didn't drink it from the straw however, but still, quite the site.

Well, that's scary as hell. I was pretty sure alligators were carnivores.

Quokkas are always making that face. I just have a bunch of tree Roo selfies.
