The big cats can so easily kill the big dogs and there are so many vid's of them dragging off Pitbulls and Dobermans, etc.

But you see how dangerous to them damage is that if they cannot sneak attack and finish that way they often run off or get run off by even smaller dogs.

Speaks to how devastating the risk of any injury, to an animal in the wild is. Can't take a week off to heal up.

Tis why bears dont like scrapping wolverines. A win can still be an L.

A friend of mine was a keeper for them when they had them at my last zoo. Holy fuck that, literally had to weigh their food (normal) and weigh their poop every day with tons of other husbandry needs.

How do they feed them at zoo's? I read that they're too dumb to recognize food on a plate as food and need to pull it off of the tree themselves. That could just be an old wives' tale.
Out of curiosity I decided to check out what a panda's brain looks because they're pretty dumb, but to my surprise they have folds.

Do they usually get them from a horticulturist in the US or do the branches have to be shipped in from Australia?

I read that albino reptiles are more sensitive to UV light. Is there any special precautions when it comes to UV and albino's? For example, does the light have to be less intense compared to a normal animal. Do you make the photo period shorter?

Guess sex/age of individuals involved played a role, but still

Maybe cheetas being forced to the ground without chance of safe relax up on trees made them natural more scrappy cats?

Most people I know use a lower wattage uvb bulb, increase the distance or have more foliage etc to block out some of the light.

I saw these guys on a camping trip and they weren't bothered by humans at all. They were all over the place and you could interact with them.

Probably specific to the area. I guess people feed them.

That’s a small leopard, most likely young and inexperienced. That being said, most animals will avoid a confrontation if possible. The cheetah just took a chance

Domestic dogs for sure, as for wild animals killer whales seem to be pretty interested in us.
