This one lives at my work. I have a couple that live in my backyard I should get pictures of, but my dog usually scares them off.

Whenever I buy Zoomed bulbs for my Uro they blow out within a week for the most part. Every now and then I'd get a bulb that'd last longer than a month.

After finally switching over to ExoTerra I have significantly less early blow outs.

Do you have any recommendations on desert lighting/heating bulbs?

My Uro died last year
He had an almost dog like personality.
I would just get 250 watt heat lamp bulbs from the hardware store for heat.
Have bought the powersun uva/uvb bulb but they don’t get as hot.

coyote is playing a VERY different game that the pit has no knowledge of or capacity for. in the desert where i used to live they would entice dogs to go "play" or "chase" and then once a single coyote got the dog alone other coyotes will jump in and kill the dogs.

coyote is playing a VERY different game that the pit has no knowledge of or capacity for. in the desert where i used to live they would entice dogs to go "play" or "chase" and then once a single coyote got the dog alone other coyotes will jump in and kill the dogs.

The big cats can so easily kill the big dogs and there are so many vid's of them dragging off Pitbulls and Dobermans, etc.

But you see how dangerous to them damage is that if they cannot sneak attack and finish that way they often run off or get run off by even smaller dogs.

Speaks to how devastating the risk of any injury, to an animal in the wild is. Can't take a week off to heal up.
