Motoro's and a Black Diamond? Is that a Syno cat? What's your tank size and filter setup? What do you keep your pH at?

Hybrid pearl (marble motoro in the mix), pearl and black diamond thousand islands so very close! You know your fish..

Marmoratus x tsn, l95, blue eyed panaque, snakehead, couple of bichirs etc.. old school monster tank..

500g.. 5x5x3ish.. 55g bio/15g mech trickle filter with some quick growing plants in them to speed up nitrate filtration..ph @6.5-7.something.. the tap water is good here.. no need to age water so rather than trying to affect the tap water i'm going with it as it's fairly close.. i'd rather have an endless supply of good water than a limited supply of perfect water.. ie i don't fuck with a good thing..

Been doing this for a long time though so i'm selling everything now.. going for more lights, plants and community fish..

I've owned a beta or two.
Holy crap, that's old school stocking. I like it.
Which snakehead do you have? They're illegal to own/buy/sell in Murica. I've always wanted a Barca
You don't have any problems with the plecs eating the slime off your rays?
One of the mods has a pretty bad ass planted tank, I don't remember who though. You're going to need some powerful lights for plants at that depth.
500g?! Holy crap. Is it a plywood side or all glass/acrylic? Odd request, but can you get a pic of your filtration system?

It's a channa lucius.. very mild tempered channa that's been with me for 10 years and another friend for 10 years before that.. doesn't really fit my tank but i can't let him go after that long.. yeah, barca is finally getting somewhat available.. they do get big and mean though.. i saw a really nice tank with a pair of barcas and some tetras..

Yeah, right now i'm going maxpect razor 420, a couple of leadzeal 90w spotlights and some plant lights for the plants growing from the tank..

All glass.. i moonshine as a tank maker.. or did.. now i just help friends in need.. i did build a 2000g in ply with front windows though..

Fun sherdog fact.. eddie wineland is into aquariums and actually diy'ed a stingray tank..

Filtration is not much to see.. ikeas plastic storage boxes with bioballs in one of them and filter floss in the other one.. one for mech that i change once a month and the bio one that i never open..

I do however have a lot of plants growing from them and the tank which works as a nitrite filter..

Your sump/refugium looks amazing.

Have you ever resealed a Metaframe aquarium? I have a couple that I really want to reseal but I can't find much info.

Yeah.. is it silicone or the old window sealant?

Either way you don't cut all the way to the frame, just cut away the visible silicone/window sealant, clean it and then reseal like you would a normal tank..

It's like a hard black tar. The problem is they don't seal like a normal tank. They seal to the metal frame instead of the other glass panels, like the glass on plywood aquarium.

A.. then it's most likely old window sealent.. i'm not sure how they did it were you're at as i know your bracing traditionally is a bit different from ours (eurobracing) but the metaframes i've resealed still had the glass touching or almost touching inside the frame..

If you cut away the black tar stuff you should be able to seal it with normal caulking tools..

I knew that earwigs could fly (that might be a new piece of nightmare-inducing information for some of you) but I had no idea that they used their grabby butts to unfurl their wings:
