Lol the leopard looked so pissed and the whales going after orcas is a rare act of altruism in animals. Especially considering orcas are capable of killing the whales

Birds can fill their stomachs up to their throats and feel fine.

Don't pelicans often bite off more than they can chew or swallow and regurgitate it back up?
They don’t chew, just swallow in one gulp. Occasionally they swallow something big and can choke (Herons do it too) but overall they are pretty conscious of their prey selection.

must be terrible way to die.

I'm guessing their stomach acids are next level to digest unchewed food.

Death via asphyxiation while be burned by acid?

I'm also guessing they regurgitate any bones if they swallow a bird or anything else other than a fish.

Saw something kind of interesting today.. excuse the screenshot.. sherdog can't handle full size pics and doesn't seem to have an auto function for this..

Anyhoo.. i'm at this partly dried out rapids and i spot a snake with a small 3-4" bass in its' mouth.. ofcourse i sneak closer trying to get a picture.. while closing up i'm stepping over a smaller snake heading the same direction.. i find an ok spot to take pictures and to my surprise there are 3 more snakes closing up on the first snake.. they end up on a little cliff having a tiny battle royale over this little bass..

Everything ends with the bass carrying snake taking a kamikaze dive over this little 3' cliff into the water after "fighting" the other snakes over the bass.. snakes are kind of rare here so nice little experience..

Has sound

I've seen a few clips of jags catching caiman in recent times and it always blows my mind.

That's some serious strength on display.

Similar to their leopard bruddas/sistas hauling antelope up trees.

Stockholm sweden..
That makes a lot more sense, even though I’m on my phone I was struggling to identify the snake as a Us species.
Also makes it a lot easier, Sweden only has three species of snakes. That’s a grass snake Natrix natrix

Abdolutely correct.. mild tempered, hunts fish, frogs, toads and the occational rodent.. small ones often group together to feed on tadpoles etc..

They do smell horribly if you catch them though.. :D they excrete something..

The yellow spots on the head gives them away.. i've found a couple of totally black ones that could be mistaken for our viper but the tail gives it away..

Only second time i see one eat and i had no idea they were that competative over food.. :)
