One of my friends hunts a lot with dogs (and birds he’s into falconry) out in New Mexico. Since he encounters venomous snakes so often he’s trained his dogs on snake avoidance.So walking along Rock Hollow trail in Ellisville, MO my dog and I spotted a reptilian critter. This was his first encounter with a copperhead snake. The animal encounter will allow my dog to properly develop and mature.

@Zookeeper Gabe How are the animals doing? Have you noticed any behavioral changes due to the animals not being around humans?
From what I've read the care requirements for them are really difficult to reproduce so most collected for the pet industry are destined to a cruel death.Those things really are gorgeous, but I always worry for anything that has that small of a home range becoming popular. It’s real easy to Over collect really fast
