Correct which is a separate category to Horror. Unless you think Shaun of the Dead should be in the same category as Texas Chainsaw Massacre.Horror comedy is a genre staple. Fuck do you mean?

What's with so many people talking about how funny it was? Last time I checked horror movies ain't supposed to be funny. Anyone laugh while watching the texas chain saw massacre? This sounds stupid. Don't people even know what a horror movie is anymore? Too much tik tok.
So you think horror movies are meant to be funny. Cool.Hasnt seen the movie, still gonna jump on the internet and tell everone else they're wrong
Having just seen the fillm, it does a good job balancing the two. The horror is primary with a few funny moments. So you think horror movies are meant to be funny. Cool.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre was hilarious you dolt.Correct which is a separate category to Horror. Unless you think Shaun of the Dead should be in the same category as Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Not intentionally. Most would not call it a "funny" movie. Now, TCM2 on the other hand...Texas Chainsaw Massacre was hilarious you dolt.
I didn't like the Timberlake woman either and could have surely cast someone better.Saw it today
Thought it was pretty damn good. Although the chick with the 2000 Justin Timberlake Ramen Noodle blonde hair annoyed me. Bye Bye Bye!
Josh Brolin really carried the movie and the kid who played Alex did an awesome job.
Nice touch or horror and comedy especially at the end
I thought Barbarian was “meh” and didn’t get the hype. THIS movie was worth the hype. Very original
9/10
From Zach Cregger, the wholly original mind behind Barbarian (2022), comes a new horror/thriller: Weapons. When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance. The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan. In theaters August 8.
i have not seen any marketing implying this was based on a true story. There is a voice over in the trailer of a young child recapping an old story of what happened in the towns past where she says "this is a true story", but that was clearly just a narrative approach in setting up the movie. It would require a major reach to interpret that as implying this movie is based on a true story.Misleading marketing claimed that this was based on a true story, but it's not. Haven't seen it, but that's enough to turn me off from doing so.
